I decided to make a channel list that are working for all Coolsat comrades that use Coolsat 4000, Coolsat 5000, and Coolsat 6000

PLEASE NO CHANNEL BEGGING!

**Please note that Coolsat doesn’t support HD channels, so please don’t ask about them here. Only SD (standard definition) channels will be listed here.

Please let me know when a channel is working so I can add it. I’ll try to update this list from time to time. Thanks in advance.

Channels that are not coming in during the weekly scan will be highlighted in RED. – Next week-scan if those channels don’t come in at all, they will be deleted from the list. My goal is to focus on working channels only.

New channels that come in during the weekly scan will be highlighted in BLUE. – Next week-scan if those channels stay up, they’ll be permanent in the list.

Also below I marked the channels that seem to be unstable. Sometimes they come in, and sometimes they do not. They are highlighted in PURPLE.

If you don’t seem to get the channels I list below, please check if the CAID are set correctly for those channels in your Coolsat receiver.

To fix the CAID issue,

First Tune to the channel you are trying to see (be sure not to be in EPG menu nor in Channel List menu)–you should have a black screen on you TV when you tune to the channel–it’s okay if it says “Scramble Channel”.

Then enter 8282 with your remote control–this will bring up the CAID menu — please note that 8282 is not a channel–so be sure to enter it correctly.

then press the BLUE key on your remote control.

Then select [2] 002A: Nagravision (1816)

then press OK,

then SAVE your new setting

then press EXIT to leave the CAID menu. The channel should come in within a few seconds or minutes.
